I would like you guys to make the ban system much more advanced.
What i´m thinking of are a couple of things:

1) ability to choose if to ban by a nick, an ip, a steamid or a combination of those ex. ip+steamid

2)that one can put in a reason with the ban so that one can browes the bans and see why that ban is there and the reson should also be shown to the player being banned

3)that the ban records contains time, date and the nick of the player being banned

4)built in support for sharing ban list between multiple server

I apologize if this already has been brought up (i did read all ideas) and for my bad english (if there is something wrong )

since the auth system is modular enough to do just about anything I will probably make the banning system integrated into that, not sure yet.

Database Ban Management is another thing I'd like to see.. where Bans get written to a DB table instead of a flat file.

That way you can reference better on php websites.

This would also make it a little bit eaiser to do a whole Admin MOTD Website console.

Do away with the ingame menu, and have an MOTD with a Web Admin tool.

I also like the idea of incorporating more SQL functionality in bans. While similar to an idea I posted, I think you detailed it much better than I. And I believe your English is fine.

I say this is an excellent idea. Or maybe AMX bans integrated into SourceMod. Anyway great idea.
