No, do not release, redistribute, re-upload, or modify the models without permission. It has gotten to the point lately where people headhack, reskin, or repost content that others have worked on, or worse.. Resell it without modification as their own work. For some reason people seem to think it is OK to do it because it is easy or it's just fan art. I have had complete maps and custom models re-upload with no changes, or minor changes to sites like this or the steam workshop, and most of the time the uploader was taking credit for it being their own works.

Create your own content / fan art. Most of the content (maps, models, animations, etc) was created for specific communities or private servers. You can post your own stuff, and any scripts or configs you have made.
