- Can Pinion or Motdgd still be on the new Quickplay system.? If people dont force waiting its allowd am i reading this correct.?

- To bad about the Class restrictions, must say.

- A plugin like the, Fire steps / color steps from Halloween is still allowed in Quickplay right, as they arnt sold or hurting the economy.?!

Over balanced Premium servers will disapear slowly when this hits in proberly if they count on Quickplay. Or do they have a hughe reg pubplayerbase what you think?

LOL
Contacted Steam Support in September regarding the gameserver-fav stuff. Pretty much my proposal. I want to be credited...

It means that the server is in good standing as determined by the TF system. It doesn't really mean anything if you're not Quickplay-eligible.

No, fire steps or whoever isn't allowed.

I have only 2 "mods" on my quickplay servers, 1 is rtd and the other is robot. I couldn't care less if I use either honestly, but would either of those 2 eliminate me from quickplay?

sv_setsteamaccount has to be set before map start btw... so on the server command line or in autoexec.cfg or another cfg file execed on the server startup line.

rtd would. Not sure about Valve's ruling on Be the Robot or other model changes as long as they have appropriate animations.

How do you create an account for your server and can you do one account with multiple servers? I don't follow what is going on very well here.

There's no easy way to create an account right now.

You have to manually POST to the Steam WebAPI, with curl or somesuch.

As for the accounts, you'll need one for each srcds instance, otherwise they'll log each other off.

I used curl from the command line to do it...

Code:
curl -X POST -d "appid=440&key=mykey" https://api.steampowered.com/IGameServersService/CreateAccount/v0001/
with mykey being a key you got from the Steam dev site.

I got this when I tried:
Code:
{
          "response":  {

          }
}
