Not long ago I wanted to export data in a motd window but reached the char cap size at a little above 1550 chars. Is there any way to increase this size, make a link to another motd window or just continue to export data in another window if the cap is reached?

A solution would simply creating an HTML redirection to your full file hosted somewhere.

if its a const motd ( which the text will be constant ), you can just open a html file containing your MOTD Text. if its for dynamic purpose, just use arkshine solution

afaik it doesn't matter if it's dynamic or static, as long as it redirected you somewhere, it should work fine with as many characters as you want. But, very high amount of text (and the rule doubles for images) will cause large client lag while the motd is opened.

If there is any "lag" (unlikely) it will be irrelavent since it will only affect the player and they obviously aren't playing the game if they are looking at the MOTD .

Yeah there is a client-side lag if opening a large file in a motd window (especially while scrolling). You're right, but I'm just saying that as it might be a useful information for someone out there.
