Is it possible to create a plugin to change the tickrate ingame???

Thought the mani_tickrate would do that but thats only for viewing purposes.

tickrate has to be set at the time the server starts. I dont think any plugin would be able to change it on-the-fly.

Somewhere in the servers (buildin) config it must say:

Tickrate = 33

If mani mods knows where to read it (mani_tickrate ;)) then when the server is running the backtrace wouldnt be too hard I think.
But I havent got the programming knowledge to do it.

gonna try gamewiz32

Code:
server_tickrate = (int) (1.0 / serverdll->GetTickInterval());
You probably could hack it if you really wanted to so that it changes on the fly.

I would imagine it's done at the command line so that server operators don't have to worry about CPU usage affecting other games running on the same box.
