Hello,

I am very new to coding in amx and I wanted to make some simple items for an rp server that do different things like speed you up or make you jump higher or paralyze you. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I just need a start on how to do theses things.

What you need to do:

1) Download the AMXX Studio:

2) Find plugins similar to what you want to do, and try to recreate the parts of those plugins in your own plugin - to behave as you need them to do.

3) Checkout the documentation for help:
http://www.amxmodx.org/doc/

4) Ask for help on this board, when no solution is presented in #3, or has been asked previously on the board (SEARCH!)

!5!) Never ever post your first plugin here if its your first programming project, unless its truly extraordinary (moderators wont approve "bad" programming, its natural - and just proves you arent as experienced as some "veterans" in the community)

well if its a new idea, you can post it just be ready to receive criticism and hope someone will tell you ways to improve your code (Hey, you can't learn if you don't know what you did wrong).

I'll be willing to try to help but note that I suck at codin .

1) register a server command
2) make a function
3) make an entry in the mysql database

Look at Harbu's default items for help..but you should try starting making a health giving plugin first or something.
