In Back 4 Blood, they gave you the option of holding a button to crouch or simply pressing a button once. This doesn't exist in L4D2 as far as I remember and I thought it was one of the nice features of that game.

Could this be done here? Perhaps some kind of client cookie system similar to character select where you could save hold or toggle and the client could always change it if they wanted?

may work but the client will have sync issues specially in high latency
