Ah, so they've reversed some of their policy concerning it then. I don't do TF2 code, but if I ever get around to doing an update I'll see about removing the hardcoded CS:S requirements.

Indeed. It's always good to keep up on the policy. Believe me, I was as surprised as you are when I found out that others could see the trails. And I just remembered that we use other trails too, such as in CTF when you get the intel, you have papers flying out of you as you run. TF2 <3's Trails.

It's quite a neat plugin and would be an excellent addition to any TF2 server, it just needs the relevant Spy-related checks in the coding for displaying the trail, so that it knows "If the spy is cloaked or disguised, do not display the trail". Same with if the Spy "dies" via Dead Ringer, don't have a trail following him around while he's invis

That's really about it. Good work nonetheless. Hopefully someone smarter than me can figure out how to make the appropriate Spy-based checks in this.

Like I said, I don't do TF2 code; I would merely be removing the basic hardcoded requirements and someone else can fiddle with it. I don't play the game, it's specifics are lost on me.

I know that I was saying hopefully someone else who knows how to do the Spy stuff can come along and fiddle with it.

Heck, I might even take a crack at it.

Plugin doesn't exactly do anything hardcoded that would require an update to the script. You'll just have to wait until any issues with SM/Extension are resolved (if they haven't been already), and the precache issue is resolved with the next CS:S update. It's doubtful there's anything I can do to make it run sooner.

Well the problem is that I can't make the plugin run while somebody else can.. And I did everything the same, well yea I'll wait a bit then.

after update flags stopped working :S everyone can use restricted trails
