1. Can I just use a dev build without using the "official" non-networked KAC one?

2. Where do logs get saved? Will they write to the SM log file or a seperate SMAC log file? Do I have to "enable" anything for it to let me know what it's doing?

Ok, thank you.

One more question.....I had several of the modules enabled (aimbot, anti-wallhack, cmds and I think one more?).....and folks pings show up to 200+ across the entire server, and when I unloaded the smac.smx plugin, the pings went down. Does anyone have this issue?

What is the "best" configuration to use, with minimal ping/server load issues?

The anti-wallhack module requires a lot of resources to function, and isn't really suitable for large servers. Disabling that should solve your ping issues.

I will say that with the most recently updated dev build, the wallhack module can run ~twice as fast and it might be worth testing if your server is 24 players or less.
