i have a steam accont and a steam server. how i can have a domain name so the public ip doen't change(same ip) and how do i host my server to a site eg http://members.000webhost.com/

you need to rent it, search in the web.

will not work, you can use it for the sv_downloadurl.

i put the sv_download at server.cfg but it still downloads from my pc. :/ is that the only thing that needs server.cfg has in it??? please help..

To me it sounds like he is asking how to make his server ip a url.

like css.ucclan.com

If so you have to already own a domain and add a A record to your DNS zone. Just google how to do that on w/e host you are useing

ok i hosted my server and i placed the cvars. now everything downloads really fast.thanks guys..do you know if i can run my server without open hlds(when i have my computer turned off)???

Are you hosting the server on your home computer? Then no, it won't run if your computer is off.
