I was banned from the steam forums yesterday , because these moderators believed that I promote cheating.....yeah.

Because I admited that I use transparent skins for some textures in de_dust2 , this doesn't mean that I hack actually in order to trigger a VAC ban.

Skins like this effects servers only with sv_pure 0 or sv_pure 1-bad configured from pure_server_whitelist. SO , sv_pure 2 and proper-set sv_pure 1 servers are IMMUNE to this. Why to consider as hacking , anyway?

Is the fact that , server admins over there are too laze to learn what "sv_pure" means? (My purpose is to let them know , in order to stop material hackers for using their edited vtf and vmt files)

So, what's the point of this ban? I feel so irritated from this.

And , never , never on my entire gaming life used real hacks (exe programms, paied , etc) , because I don't want to put my 2007 steam account to danger.

You will say now "why not just create another forum account and stop whining"?

This would be simple , but I really do care about the fact that I was pissed off and I request a serious explanation.

Just to let you know: you are totally wrong here. You can complain a hundred years here, noone on steampowered forums will ever notice or care about.
Secondly my two cents about using transparent skins: lame cheater.
As "cheating" is everything considered that gains you an advantage over other players. The "excuse" that this only affects sv_pure 0 or bad configured 1 server is also cheap. Some admins may simply don't want to prevent you from using your own LEGAL models/skins, so tey don't write tons of whitelists for every "legal" material that exist, they simply say in their MOTD "Do not cheat" and think that players on their server are fair enough to not bee a lazy asshole and use hacks/cheats/illegal(transparent materials).
Get the fakt: you are a cheater and deserved the ban.

That's the reason of the existence of sv_pure 1 and pure_server_whitelist.

It's up to the server admins to configure what will be allowed and not be allowed.

The above are files that the server uses at most times.

If they want , they can also include some other client-side-only skins or sounds ,in order to be used by the players ,provided that they are only materials/models (related to character skins , no map skins like materials/de_dust)

If only there was a pure_server_blacklist.txt file , that would be so much easier , because the admin could just set only the materials/folder_here files to be only for steam and NOT ANYTHING ELSE. And this is your point.

Please try to read and understand my post instead of ignoring it.
Yust because someone did not add a whitelist to his servers does NOT mean you are allowed to use anyting you want. "No cheating" MEANS "no cheating", not: "that guy is to stupid/lazy/uninformed to use whitelist so i am allowed use cheating materials on his server".
