Why do people get bent out of shape when you pm them a simple question?
Instead of being rude and acting like a spoiled child?
Dont pm me or post on forums. What kind of a person takes that kind of approach to people on your forums? I wont say what admin said that, if they feel the need to reply then so be it. This is a disscussion not a dilberate act aginst the one admin.

if it is a question that can be answered by more than one person (the one your pming) then you should make your own thread (in the appropriate sub-forum).

Do you have any idea what it's like to support a product?

Now do you have any idea what it's like to support a product who's average user age is probably 14?

Additionally, do you have any idea what it's like to support a product who's average user's age is 14 AND you must support both the working product AND the programming language?

It's rough, and not fun at all. The dumbest questions get asked, most people blantantly ignore the documentation, and it gets irritating.

Also, this service is done 100% free. Nobody makes a dime off of either AMXX core, AMXX plugins, AMXX modules, or AMXX support. It's done in free time, as a hobby.

Furthermore, why would you want to pm someone "a simple question" when there is a special forum dedicated to these things. You'd better post it there.

Its never a simple question, its always a STUPID question that can be answered by using the SEARCH feature. New people that sign up everyday just post and hope to get answers, then they get replies like "NO AMX MOD SUPPORT HERE" "USE THE SEARCH FEATURE" "WRONG SECTION" "THIS IS NOT AN AMXX ISSUE"

I mean is it that hard to see that it says AMX Mod X??

Or is it that hard to search? or LOOK at what section your posting in?

And everyone just assumes when something goes wrong, its AMXX's fault

Thanks for the replies, and to make it be clear and known i do the research, i search and try to do it all myself with help from the forums. If i cant figure it out then as a last resort i will ask for assistance. I never said they got paid, i know its all free and they do it as a hobby. The question was simple but due to the fact this person was rude i went with someone else and they had no problem helping me for 5 minutes.
