Goddamn, I've tried everything and I can't get any bots to work at the same time as AMXX/MetaMod.


Can somebody please write detailed, specific instrucions on how to intall a certain type of bot. (no general crap that supposibly works with all bots).



This is a fair bit to ask, but i really need to get this running!

Nope, thats not helping.
Can you zip your addons folder, liblist file and anything you use to make your bots work for me?
So I can put it over my amxx/metamod/bot intallation.

i dont have bots....
i did once but not anymore, your asking for someone to just paste it up so u can copy paste in your folder easy solution...

You can try ZBot which are the best I know of.

I don't have time to write a perfect installguide, but this is the most important one to get it to work.

1) Have your liblist.gam pointing at metamod.dll as usual.

2) Add this in you commandline for your server.

+localinfo mm_gamedll dlls/zbotcz.dll

zbotcz.dll must be in cstrike/dlls/

If you have another bot use that +localinfomethod to load the bot.dll

If you can't find ZBot search for "cs16-bots" on goggle or some filesharingprogram.

BTW are you trying to install bots on a Listenserver or a Dedicated Server?

mate i tried that its allmost impossible keep your hopes up if u wanna do it but take advice if u like or leave it
u will lag and u will crash when u least expect it!
so much said about listen and bots theres too much pressure when running steam CS hlds and bots and all the other applications required
if your thinking about popularizing your server try maps like
aim_ak-colt
scoutzknivez
awp_city
fy_dinoiceworld
they work ! bots and listen dont !

The reason I want to use bots is that because playing against one person gets boring after the first few weeks.

Just out of curiosity, which bot did you choose?

And did you use the localinfo-method??

Other people reading this thread maybe want to know how you solved it.
