opening .mdl files

how do you open .mdl files? Isnt there a program for it?

The only bad thing about source sdk is that you can only open the ROOT files (the default ones) and cannot open custom .mdl files.

Yeah you can, you just have to copy the models to the game directory.

Or you can use the model viewer in the Alien Swarm SDK.

Try searching valve forums. This is a website for plugins/extensions not models/maps etc
