If you updated it to the Beta, just update it again without the "-beta hlbeta" part and it will "update" to the latest released version.

Yes, I know, but I think people should not restrict the ability to select a version of HLDS.
Maybe there is some opportunity to correct the CSDM plugin to support beta-build?

CSDM happens that does not work in latest version of HLDS. Dessistindo'm already using it for lack of support!

It is a beta build for a reason. I can see KWo's version possibly supporting the beta but the official one, not till it is out of beta.

HLDS updates are not often. And this beta resolves the issue with the master-servers(sv_region bug), as well as containspotential fix for svc_bad network errors.
Therefore, this update is very necessary for me.
