You didn't get my meaning. I don't see anyone seeking out the author and stopping the redistribution. He can freely distribute his plugins on other outlets. I'll add him to the list of people who maintain dproto.

I have recently seen also a plugin with a dev backdoor. The developer provides the source.
I asked him for that backdoor and he replied he uses this for supporting server and find issues.
The plugin queries a webserver to check for dev access and provide him(only him?) rcon, rootflag and some game benefits.
Afaik he hasn't mentioned this function anywhere.
It's clear, many server operators can't read source code to find such kind of functions.
My question, is this a violation of any AM, SM or GLP rules?

Why can't you stop using those plugins? Everything that is out there is already available at this site with source, and full/partial support. You are just making things complicated for yourself.

I never used them and never intend to.
The reason why I reported these plugins are stated by asherkin and the other guy very specificly.

Sorry, if I find it hard that some people have nothing better to do than find stupid shit and expect it to be fixed when they would never use it themselves as you claimed. I'm not trying to convince you of anything. I said it before that it's nearly impossible to stop this activity and you reviving this thread made it clear.
