What is this about?
[MD] Zombie Infection mod was one of the first zombie mods for cs 1.6
It never got published by original author, and some people tried to make their own but it never really worked. So i thought, why wouldnt i take cheap_suit's Biohazard mod that is globally accepted and mess with the code to make it look like [MD] Zombie Infection.

List of changes to adapt to [MD]
-buy menu is changed (only shotguns and smgs can be taken)
-only 1 zombie class with same gravity and speed as humans
-zombies have silent footsteps and nightvision
-zombies have 2250 hp, first one has 4500 (both hp and first zm hp multiplier is configurable just like in default biohazard) and bullet multiplier is 1 instead of default 0.087
-zombies dont have regeneration (configurable)
-humans can press , and . keys to purchase ammo.
-when zombies get shot, pain sounds will emit
-nihilanth sounds are displayed during the game
-light flag is "a" (darkest)
-thunder is extracted from Kazalu's [MD]
-infection starts in between 10 and 15 seconds

-cheap_suit for making Biohazard
-Kazalu for making his own [MD] Zombie Infection, i learned a lot from his code
-Some more players who helped test it.

Well i would say that every zombie mod can be "Zombie Infection" as long as it doesn't have more than a single, default zombie class and just the classic infection mode. I did made at some point a server addons called zombie infection and just like you i used the biohazard mod but heavily toned down the zombie abilities like the regeneration and damage reduction.

It isn't wrong. It was just been done to dead.
A lot of thread about "Biohazard" and "Zombie Infection" is just the old simple Zombie Mod which Zombue Plague already cover it.
If change few setting in ZP, you can turn it into the old Zombie Mod/Biohazard so there is no reason to release a sepreate version like this

You think of it code-wise. Yes, it is easy to make oldschool zombie infection mod out of existing approved mods and that's why i didn't even credit myself for it. I'm just a player who picked up amxx. Didn't see such mod as what i created anywhere else on forum, it's probably not public and noone cares, i wanted to bring old zombie mod back by making public release. There are 3 servers running [MD] right now.

Yes, it covers it but never plays it. Zombie Plague servers are way "extra" with many added things that ruin gameplay. (everyone knows where this story is going)

My reason is to try spreading this mod as i think that it's challenging and requires some effort to play, which gaming should be about. I'm probably going to be ignored because it's not forum's business to discuss gameplay and feelings but at the end of day, coders and developers exist because of gamers so gamers should have advantage.

Yes, that part perfectly describes it. It can be, but it's not, and that's why i'm doing this.
Of course i don't want every zombie mod to be [MD].

"Extra" or not it is the owner/admin/coder of that server added, if they want to, they CAN just:
- disable zp50_items.amxx (didn't cause error too btw)
- Change light setting in zombieplague.cfg
- disable all Zombie Class
- diasble all game mode except infection

And bom, you got old school style Zombie Infection.

But the owner and the player does not want that, that why they add bunch of extra item and what they think is "fun"

I personally doesn't like that kind of "fun" either tbh
But I also can't stand playing with just classic Zombie Infection because if feel so bland
Not to mention, it just unblance in the same way: Zombie can't touch Human most of time and become a punching bag. You either catch someone off-guard or you just mindlessly chase human and dead most likely
And if you make the map dark, it just a fake difficulty by limiting visibility and become somewhat 1-sded toward Zombie
