arkshine's is somewhat better, but I don't see why he left out the filters for spawn detection.
Noob scripters will look at the code and still think thats the correct way to hook spawn.

Well, for 1. The glow is only reset at spawn, which is why I hooked spawn through HamSandwich.
And 2. The get_user_team() function may return false results at certain times such as when a player spawns.

Which are the two aspects of your code that I don't know why you did them.

1. Reseted on death, too. But whatever. ResetHud is perfectly fine to do this task ( aka glowing a player ) only and such case ( glowing forever, means we don't care if it calls severals times ). Tell me the reason on what can be a problem ?

2. Prove it. So far I'm using it, I don't remember getting false results. Even if so, it will not a problem in my code. Just let letgoofmyeggs to see that if it's true and then I will change cs_get_user_team() in the fakemeta way.


@letgoofmyeggs: I've updtated my code to change how team index is retrieved. It doesn't hurt to change it since it appears that it can be a problem if player switches team. ( Orangtuz say )

Well, I never was taught by anyone. I just asked for help a few times on the forums and read other plugins and tutorials.
But I remembered about the get_user_team() may return false results because of Orangutanz and the ResetHUD event was a bad way to hook spawn/new round.
And since no one really told me anything, I sometimes assumed the answers to my own questions, which is where I am wrong sometimes.
However, after 1 year and a few months of Pawn scripting, I'd say I've gotten good.

Oh. No need to justify ! I was joking. Yeah, sure, you are fairly good now comparing to before. ( I'm remember your first plugin xD )

Also, Pawn is an easy language. You can learn fastly.

About what said the others people about ResedHud it's obviously depending what you want to do. ( It supposes that you understand the problem )

I actually rewrote it recently cause it was so bad. lol
