The new Steam update that was just put out at 5:00 pm California time for DOD:S has broken the source Mod admin. Is their an update for it?

Latest TF2 and DoD:S update changed all steam ids to start with STEAM_1 instead of STEAM_0 so that should fix the admin issue.

Weird, a lot of users are still reporting as STEAM_0, maybe they need to restart steam? Good to know.

I believe the latest sourcemod does not have this issue. But if you are running an older version with sql admins.

You can run this query:
UPDATE sm_admins SET identity=CONCAT('STEAM_1',SUBSTRING(identity, )

That should fix it.

The real fix here is to just update Sourcemod. Your fix will break any legacy (CSS or other mod) admins.

I'll have to look through all the plugins now to make sure it doesn't break anything else, hah.

Thank you this did fix the problem with loosing Admin and my other Admin's on my source mod running DOD:S server.

So do we need to be using [SM] 1.1 only or do we need to change all the admin steam ids to STEAM_1_1xxxxxx format?

The newer version of either 1.1 or 1.2 no longer compare the STEAM_* part, so having either (or none) in your admin files will work.

Changing your admin files to have STEAM_1 will also work, unless the same files are used on pre-orangebox games (like CS:S), which still uses STEAM_0.
