Avalanche: I originally hinted this would be sneaked in secretly to 1.76c, but it's looking like that's not gonna happen. You may want to piggy-back off the CSDM module to see if its respawn function suits you, before I add this to the 1.77 branch.

The reason is it adds a level of hackiness to the cstrike module of which I am not totally prepared for yet, so I'd rather be doing it knowing that it'd be the right solution you need.

I've managed, with enough extra checks and hacks, to get respawning to work pretty much without bugs using fm_cs_user_spawn. So, if it's not something you really want to do, you don't have to. It's better to add hackiness to a single plugin than to an entire module.

Will that hack break the work of AMX X under old CS1.5? I mean for example plmenu respawns the player after moving to the opposite team - will it work or it will crash old CS1.5?

Nothing in the cstrike module is guaranteed to work on anything but CS 1.6, as it is already almost entirely offset based memory hacks. Many offsets changed from version to version so it is likely that, as is, the cstrike module simply corrupts memory on older versions.

What CSDM does is based on binary pattern matching, and thus in mismatching versions of CS, the function would simply throw an error since the pattern would not be found.

I'd be careful about slipping this into the cstrike module, CS 1.6 will be getting an update! In-game advertising if you don't already know.

There's a 99% chance that will be entirely client-side, and even if it wasn't, a breaking update would break more than just that one function.
