This is something that bother me since a while. Let me explain.

As a hunter you can do fast wall jump from the stand up position, it works as intended. But if you ever got bashed by a survivor this ability will totally stop working, it seems that the only way to fix the bug is to execute an attack with crouch + jump then here if you retry a fast wall jump it will work again.

The same thing happen when your hunter is burning, i think an event might not unhook properly.

Any ideas?

I don't think it is bug, l4d developers make it on purpose.
Think about a situation, you just deadstopped the hunter, but hunter can use wallkick to pounce immediately again?

Ok possibly but what about fire? This also happen on round end eventually.

It's intended. You can't wallkick while you're burning until it's put out by going into a body of water or a survivor interrupts you by shooting at you until you're on the ground.

You can use l4d_pounceprotect.
"Prevent damage from blocking a hunter's ability to pounce"
