why do we need more player slots, servers now can hardly handle the slots they are currently at without lagging out.

I think it's only fair that TF2 should be allowed to host more slots considering Counter Strike: Source can host 64 slots. I haven't lagged on those servers either.

Am I seeing this right. I added your server to HLSW and it says it can have 92 players on at one time. 0_0

Just a side node:

here at Saigns.de we earned a server ban for 1 month JUST for modifying the maxplayers value 2 years ago.
Server browser reported a number higher than 33 -> not possible in TF2 -> server ban.

I would be careful which things like that

I'd assume that would be more to do with using it with QuickPlay w/ads that would make sense, If your using it for a fun with a bunch of friends I wouldn't see it being a huge deal. Hopefully the OP keeps us updated what happens

Idk if it helps, but I've found the location of 3 errors.


"server_srv.so!CLagCompensationManager::CLagC ompensationManager(char const*) + 0x3f0"
seems to lead to:
"CUtlLinkedList<LagRecord,int,true,int,CUtlFi xedMemory<UtlLinkedListElem_t<LagRecord,int>> >::AllocInternal(bool)"


"server_srv.so!CLagCompensationManager::CLagC ompensationManager(char const*) + 0x4ff"
seems to lead to:
"CUtlLinkedList<LagRecord,int,true,int,CUtlFi xedMemory<UtlLinkedListElem_t<LagRecord,int>> >::AllocInternal(bool)"


"server_srv.so!CLagCompensationManager::Frame UpdatePostEntityThink() + 0x18f"
seems to lead to:

From what i've tried signatures does not seem to work on DHooks
You might need to built sourcemod extension with MM SourceHooks

Well, I think the 35+ crash issue might be caused by bots (I've only tested with bots), I was messing around with some bot code because I didn't have enough people, and I got lucky.



36 players, me and 35 bots, without server crashing.
The issue with this, is that it seems to only work at random, so now I need to test this with 35+ real players so I can see if it works.
