Version 9.0 is out!

Changes

1. Added a message that displays the difficulty when it's changed.
2. Added a cvar to enable/disable the messages.

Please redownload the plugin from the first post and delete your difficulty_adjustment_system.cfg file!

Tell me how to do I have 20 players I need to do to 1-3 players medium difficult was 4-10 and 11-20 expert

You don't need that in your server.cfg. if you have this plugin installed, the difficulty will automatically change as soon as the map starts.

This is a brilliant idea for a plugin, but for some reason or other this plugin can be flaky - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I've tested this on both my Linux and Windows server for l4d1 and 2 using Sourcemod version 1.7.

I've currently been testing only the default config values - those generated by the script, so it switches my co-op games to 'easy' for one player, 'normal' for 2 players, 'advanced' for 3, and 'expert' for 4 players. As players leave and join the game, the difficulty can go up and down as per those presets, but at other times it will stop working altogether. Also, it can stop working when returning to the lobby and restarting a campaign. The only way for me to overcome this issue is to restart my server, so the plugin can refresh itself.

Do I have to somehow disable the ingame voting system for difficulty? because when votes are used, that'll stop the plugin from auto switching difficulty too.

Thoughts?

Yes, You can block the vote to change the difficulty.

I did this on my server.
