suggestions:

1)
a bold/color/underline cvar to be used in the amxx.cfg ie: $b for bold, $c14 (for the color gray) etc.

this way you can choose what to have bold/color or not

2)
a built in report system: /report user <additional text>
and the bot then relays it like:
<botsname> REPORT from <the reporters name> <the text> and <user>(steamID)

something like that

3) ignore function. you can ignore certain steamids from the bot so it wont relay those messages.

Actually we already made a plugin like that a while back, I will have to find it in our archives because we redid our site

By the way, I just got 9 IRC <--> HLDS bots up today They are currently muted in #usgaming-network

By my stupidity and some investigating, the bots DO work on gamesurge when your host blocks the ports...

Click on the servers page, then click on the Clanservers server. That one has port 8080 allowed. You should be able to connect to that.

Well so much for the "LogBots" operation, there is no need for it. You can use your bot on almost any IRC network that has a port avaliable for use that is not blocked by your host. Of course if there are problems and enough requests, I will gladly continue this operation to make you a proxy for your bot, so your host can't complain. But so far there is not enough interest for me to do so, especially since this fix works.

for your second question the awnser is irc_disconnect

^there's no other way or commands to stop it? disconnect it, will make the plugins useless.
