Hello again people of Allied Modders!

I was looking on Valves developer documents about the dispenser. One of the key values holds the Team of the dispenser. Is it possible to make the dispenser be on two teams at once so it heals both? What would happen if I put both teams in separate strings for DispatchKeyValue?

Manipulating JUST the keyvalues - this is my assumption by the way, just from off hand knowledge of netprops/datamaps - I would assume you cannot. One idea is, you could have an invulnerable dispenser that switches teams when someone approaches it, allowing it to heal anyone that comes close.

Having both with DispatchKeyValue... I assume it would simply give team ownership to the last team value dispatched to the dispenser.

Another alternative solution would be to create a script and entity that emulates a dispenser and replaces one when built.

KeyValues are usually exposed as NetProps. For example, CTFObjectDispenser has a m_iTeamNum netprop.

Has anyone checked what happens when you assign m_iTeamNum the value 0 (which is unassigned).

or having 2nd dispenser on top of first one without model and both invulnerable.

it's not healing at all. value 1 - same.

How would you target objects individually and not by finding them by classname?
