yes ... i deleted them all (just to see if old tables had any influence) and reinstalled from the .txt.

I'm not sure if I understand what you're saying here, but yes, Forummod needs write access to your database. Otherwise your statistics can't be saved and you won't be able to create groups.

ok ... and i am not sure if it has write access. but i have to assume it has cuz i use the same login to the db and i am able to change any data.

Make sure that the ip of your gameserver is in the list of hostnames that has access to your database. Maybe you granted access to your own ip, but forgot to add the gameserver's ?

well i use this login from a dynamic ip and a static ip as well as localhost. it works from everywhere for me. i see no reason why a box which stands right next to the sqlserver shouldnt be allwoed to connect.

I use the default one (mysql_amxx_i386.so) with MySQL 4.0.25 and 4.1.18. If you use MySQL 5.x you should use mysql_amxx_50_x.x

You don't have to see it for it to exist. Why don't you just check the hostlist to be sure ?

hmmm i use mysqlserver 4.x and the standard mysql module for 4.x. so there shouldnt be any problem.
i downloaded newest compiler, latest .sma (and edited it according to .sma) and compiled it with the .inc's from the first post ... wheres the bug?
