In other words nobody is willing to fix this around and support us hldm lads by adding one weapon?
If it would interfere with the cs concept I can understand, to solve that a separate release for weapon_tripmine would be widely appreciated though.

come to think of it, weren't there plugins going about that add a lasermine to cs?
it is the same weapon.

As suggestion, it would not be a bad idea to not register TakeDamage is no grenade, and reversely, if only grenade, not register TraceAttack. Since it needs to be dynamic, you could either using Cvar Utilities, a command, or caching the cvar at some point.

At first look, I thought this plugin would protect the person depending on what weapon they are wielding.

Example: I just spawned as a CT with a USP, someone comes around the corner with an AK-47 and are about to spawn kill me, but I'm protected since I only have a USP and it would be much harder for me to kill the person with the AK.

If it were in fact like that, you could make it so the CT couldn't damage the person with the AK until the spawn protection is up, but your plugin isn't even like that. Just my idea of it from the name.

I like your idea with the plugin as well though,

Would it necessarily need to be made dynamic since the file is only read when the plugin is first loaded?

Updated plugin to v1.1.1 (sorry for late fix, been busy lately).
