i believe that it is connecting now but now i get the following

L 03/29/2008 - 19:02:40: [sourcebans.smx] [ERROR] Query Failed: Table 'f20s.SB_bans' doesn't exist

it clearly exists in phpmyadmin, should it be saying f20s before sb? or is that my database name. any suggestions?

Nope, unless you made the table prefixs f20's.sb. Try sb.

everything seems to be working fine now, i did not fix any thing other than changing from a host name to ip address. kind of weird it fixed its self.

the plugin is working great, however now i have to type sm_rehash each time or i can not use admin commands.

Saw you got help with the database.cfg but for other people reading this use

http://yourdomain.com/your_sourcebans/index.php?p=admin&c=servers&o=dbsetup

this will generate a database.cfg for you

I have sometimes got this error myself... I've usually just restarted the server and everything works fine again! Failing that, i know sometimes it relates to problems with my server host.

Is there any way to have sm_ban ban people by there ip and steamid both? because i have banned a couple hackers and they spam rejoin and use all sorts of rude names on retry

Ok, nobody can use admin in my servers when this is loaded, anyway to fix this?
