Not sure who can do what in there, but some bot has gone nuts in the SH section. The Tech Support board it page 1 is almost full of spam. I have tried to get moderator status myself, but no admin has replied to my PM's.

If someone can clean it up it would be awesome

It was already reported, but only vittu, Emp and Administrators can moderate that section

Oh. I did not know that. But reporting it won't do much either. I know both me and freeman have been reporting a lot without anything happening.

Guess thats how it is then.

You can try submitting a bug report to AlliedModders->IT asking for moderator access

Similar to becoming an Approver, I'm sure you can make a bug report and ask to be a moderator for that section.
Obviously not just anyone can, so you would need an admin or moderator to be able to vouch for you.
I'm not sure if it would work, but if you mentioned that there is no one moderating it at all then an admin may make you a moderator of that section.

EDIT:

Thank you. I was unaware that the bug site was used for that too.

Not sure what happens, but I made a request at least. It has become a growing problem, and as you can see in the tech support board they don't go easy. And it can really ruin the readability of the board.

It doesn't have to be me moderating it, just that someones does it. I have however offered my assistance now.

I'm veteran coder of sh section.

A long time ago, i asked admin rights to bailopan he told me to contact the main admin of this section, vittu. So i posted a topic in this section (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=145171), and vittu response was a blank, no reponse to my PM or my thread and he was active at this moment... and i was probably the best person at this moment to get it.

I doubt he will answer to admin requests now.

Good luck Jelle.

We'll see what happens. I have also contacted Vittu about this and I didn't get a response too. This seems promising though.
