The danish answer to SOPA has just been confirmed and was voted yes to. It is almost the same as SOPA. This means that Allied Modders may be closed for me soon, as I live in Denmark..

It's not just European. ACTA is a plurilateral agreement that will establish a new international legal framework that countries can join voluntarily. Meaning that any country, worldwide, can join in on the agreement.

Yesterday 22 countries from the European Union signed the agreement. There are now 32 (if I'm not mistaken) actively supporting countries behind the agreement.

The best way for us to protect ourselves from this ridiculous breach of human rights - is to actually call the EU parliament (european citizens at least) to take a stand and vote "NO" on ACTA.

EDIT: And also, please sign this petition: Just say no to ACTA. Every little bit helps.

Thank you, I was unaware of that petition. We really need to let the governments know that we are NOT interested in anything like this. How a few companies that may have 50 employees or more can control the internet is really beyond me.
