Finally we found the problem!

You are using the SM 1.0.4 SDK Tools Extension which is NOT
compatible with the ClanTag Protection as it is missing needed
functions!

Looks like you only updated the SM core to v1.1, you need to overwrite
the modules as well!

Once you're running the v1.1 SDK Tools Extension, it will work

Hmmm; ok, I noticed that the sdktools.ext.dll file found within the auto.2.ep2 folder within the extensions folder wasn't as current as the rest of the files, which would lead me to believe that, when I updated the rest of the files, this one was left unchanged for some reason, which would result in the SDK Tools appearing as v1.0.4 instead of 1.1.0...am I correct in this assumption? I'm going to try uploading the new file again to see if this is the case. If so, then thank you for helping me to find the problem!

It's part of the SM 1.1 package, you just have to extract it and upload
the content of it's folder "addons\sourcemod\extensions\"
to the corresponding folder on your gameserver "orangebox\dod\addons\sourcemod\extension s\"
and overwrite all existing files. - Preferably while the gameserver is switched off.

After that start up your gameserver and check with "meta list" again
and it should say "SDK Tools (1.1.0-dev) by AlliedModders LLC".

Ok, I've updated the SDK Tools extension to 1.1.0 now, but the clan tag protection plugin is still failing to create a .CFG file; I even re-uploaded the .SMX and .SP files for the plugin to the server, both from the TMS download and from the compiled folder of the newest SM snapshot, all while the server was stopped; when i restarted the server, nothing had changed. Do I need to completely remove the TMS plugin and all addons and re upload everything?


EDIT: Ok, disregard the previous message. I think FileZilla was jsut being a butthole and not refreshing the file list as it should have been; the .CFG file is now present, so I'm going to edit it and see ohw it works. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks again!

P.S. How do I set it up so that certain peple can use the tag and others can't? I don't see anything for like STEAM ID or anything.

Awesome plugin(s), for the round end stats it is annoying to have to press 0 to exit, most informational menu boxes you press any number and it goes away, would be nice if this were the same.

You don't need to set SteamIDs, it's based on admin rights, currently
everyone that has reserved slot can use the clan tag, but I'll change that
in the upcomming version 1.1 to be more customizable, maybe I'll
add an additional whitelist as well.

It automatically closes once the new round starts, but I'll add the other
buttons as well, so it doesn't matter what you press to close it

I guess you downloaded the package some time ago before I
fixed the language files...so all you have to do is redownload the package
and re-upload the "translations"-folder onto your gameserver while
overwriting all existing files within it.

After that you should have the correct language.
