Yes, could be the problem with engine itself, but how would you explain when its happening more rarely when updated to sourcemod 1.1 and metamod 1.7 It means only one thing, there is something wrong about those 2

So far it has proven to be nothing but random in its occurrences. Give it some time and you will probably (unfortunately) see. My servers can be fine for a week, then have map change timeouts 4 times in one day for no apparent reason.

Hello,

a standard "steam updated" version of a L4D server on a windows box runs smooth and i had no crashes for more than 30 days.

since i installed MMsource and Sourcemod my server crashes randomly from 4h to 1 day..

i removed all plugins reinstalled the server, updated via steamupdates, installed MMSource 1.7.0V and the latest snapshot of SourceMod v1.2.0. build hg2500. now the server crashes randomly again.

nothing in the logs, nor dumps nor anywhere else.

i removed everytime nextmap.smx *.inc and *.sp files
still the same.

anymore suggestions?
is it possible to set the Sourcemod or MetaMod to Debug so that we get more intel from the logs?

cybernetic-server
win32

just MMsource and SM.. no plugins.

thank you in advance and i am free for beta

regards

And what happens if you don't run MMS and SM?

as soon as i install MMsource and SM the server is gonna crash in between of 4h or 1-2days.

thats why i would like to see a debug option.

hmm..
and how we could find out what causes the crash ?

i monitored the server and the console by hlsw today and one time it crashes after a mapchange in versus (full server 8/ the next time it crashes just in a round,. not at the end of a map.

no errors, faults or any logs that can be used for debugging.
everything in the console seems normal.
transition messages etc ..
