Hey all, I have a rented server and obviously have access to FTP to update my plugins/server etc which I have been running for over a year. When I try use the ftp function in 1.60 to install...I get an error saying the port number is definately wrong? The server ip is 144.140.25.229 and the port number is 21. What am I missing?

Just dont use the amxmodx installer use the zip files.You only need to update the moduels and the dlls.Well thats what i did and it works fine you may need to recompile some plugins if they dont work.

1) You should recompile all plugins.
2) You should over-write all the base plugins with the new ones.
3) You shouldn't give crappy advice.

Use the Search button, type in admin/Creating Admin or useres.ini and pull the tab down for Support/Help. You will find a bout 100 posts for your issue and should have it resolved in no time.

Or just read the Documentation.
