I'm having the same problem installing a server on CentOS 6.
I have hlds{Exe version 1.1.2.7/Stdio (cstrike) Exe build: 17:45:07 Apr 25 2013 (6027)} + metamod (v1.21-am) + amxmodx (v1.8.2).
When the map is loaded the HLDS server crashes.
Disabling amxmodx from the metamod plugins.ini file temporarily fixes the problem.
Another solution is to disable all plugins from the amxmodx plugins.ini file.
But the best solution I found was
disabling SElinux as indicated by Sakretsos.
I followed these steps on CentOS:
HTML Code:
1) vi /etc/sysconfig/selinux
2) press i (to enter insert mode)
3) change SELINUX=enforcing to SELINUX=permissive
4) press ESC (to exit insert mode)
5) type :wq (to write the file and quit vi)
6) reboot
7) start hlds
*Note: I'm a newbie with linux so I don't know if this is the best solution or if the steps are correct (I used ftp to edit the file and also installed gdb to try fixing the errors)
