One a couple servers, we have different needs for blocking/replacing different weapons.....and I am trying to figure out the best way to do this without a separate plugin for each weapon (which has resulted in some issues on the server)....

1. One server is needing the cleaver (both normal and genuine) as well as both jumpers (rocket/sticky) replaced/removed

2. One server is needing the darwin's danger shield removed/replaced or have it's "effects" nullified

The attributes and configuring it via tf2items has me really confused....

You should be able to do all of these things with asherkin's items manager

Isn't that "TF2Items" ? (which is now incorporated into SM right?) Is there another "item manager"? (I did a search and couldn't find it and checked Asherkin's signature for all the plugins he's advertising and don't see a seperate item manager)

If it can be done with TF2 Items however, that's what I am asking for help with. Thank you in advance.

Tf2Items ships with the itemmanger smx

As long as this thread is here, I have my own question. The way TF2Items works has changed a bit since I last played with it. If I want to remove stats, I have to overwrite them. Any way around that, or is that just what I have to do now? I'd also love to know if there's a way I can properly ban a weapon rather than just kill the user if they equip it, e.g. Wrangler.

You can use the tf2items api and create a plugin that replaces what weapon a player has.

^^ This is why I was asking how to do this ..... not all of us are modders/coders.... can I just edit the tf2items.txt file? If so, how would I do this for those specific weapons....if a Paypal donation is necessary as an incentive, then let me know....I am not asking someone to just do something for free if it's something needing more attention than can be given in this forum post.

Have you looked into the TF2Items version of tNoUnlocksPls?

I tried it but it instead of blocking the weapons I choose via the menu, it blocked every single weapon and replaced it with defaults.

Can you please explain on how it could be used in detail. And if we have to block the weapons every time on map change or restart?
