Ok, so in terms of the API I'll leave it there for now (perhaps to use with other things), but with the comments direct SQL thats fine with me.... Just wanted to save work for the plugin

@Trosty: In the app there is a Gulp task which builds the LESS into a file, could easily just have various custom less files/directories which pump into different CSS files and select them in the settings Should be fairly simple with Bootstrap as base.

I remember quite clearly though that BAILOPAN was also against using HTTP calls because of the overhead, that's why I never implemented it. But of course if it's fast enough then I applaud it, an API is much easier to work with than SQL.

Just curious, is the test site suppose to be that open for modification or is it just because it's just a demo?

HTTPS version gives mixed content warnings because you link directly to http:// images in your HTML. Either a check for this, or linking without a protocol to "//domain/" (assuming you know it can do both) will be better.

Logging in via Steam seems to add a new user, is this purpose intended? Shouldn't it only allow this if the STEAM ID is already known, and otherwise notify the user that it doesn't know him/her, and that if he/she means that it it should, then they should contact the administrator?
