Do i need to create the folders then upload the files or just upload the files to the sourcebans folder? i created under public.html folder

you can create a sub folder/directory within the public.html named whatever you want then upload the files to it.

How Do i CHMOD? Ok done that tried installing nothing happened is this cause the database i created is empty therefore what do i put in it? what about the edit on databases.cfg file do i do that before or after installation?

while in FTP access you right click the directory and select file permissions than change whatever to whatever

As for databases.cfg you can edit that whenever and I believe it creates its own tables once started.

Based on those db name and user name, is your control panel ISPConfig?

Ok first off where is the site hosted from? If its on the same box as the game server you can use localhost if not then use the domain but ONLY the domain address don't need to include sourcebans at the end. Issue I have here is I tried to hit bwm.clanservers.com and it goes to a file view as if there is nothing there to begin with so you may wish to contact the host for this information you need to use.

firstly Ive been told http://bwm.clanservers.com/sourcebans is incorrect in the database.cfg edit should read http://bwm.clanservers.com and i added the server ip by remote sql prog on the cpanel x ive done all that now but http://bwm.clanservers.com/sourcebans/install to install still doesnt do anything what am i missing?
