Since i couldn't find the module required in the thread, and everyone just yells "It works", why do i get this message? Where can i find the module?

Well, because that knifeapi has an .amxx too, not only an .inc
In other words, you should have 2 files:

knifeapi.amxx knifeapi.inc

Check if you have the module named 'cstrike',
I had same problem, plugins giving wierd errors cus I didnt had that module.

Correct me if im wrong, but i think an API, is something like for example, let's say you have an unlimited ammo clip plugin.
And you want to create several extra weapons with unlimited ammo clip.
Instead of writing that unlimited ammo clip code in each one of them registering 10 curweapon events, you just write one plugin and you make couple natives, to set unlimited clip or to remove it.
Then you just use those natives in the weapon plugins.
