do i need to have server.cfg file if so where will i find that file? there is no server.cfg file in my cfg folder. need help asap.

i done all those suggested stuff that you guys posted, i make the server run on startup but when i entered "map dota" it loads a bunch of fast text and crash, really need help as i want to play with minimal ping with my friends.

The server crashes immediately after starting:

And run with these settings:

srcds.exe -console -game dota +map dota +maxplayers 10 -port 27015 -ip 80.80.220.230 +exec server.cfg

then start from the beginning, re-read everything in this thread then do it again and again until you stop missing some piece of information because it works perfectly fine if you follow the instructions. hell one guy even made a detailed post with every step instead of spamming the thread with non relevant information. that would be appreciated ty.
