Hello guys, I've seen some of you are looking for a fastdl host to host your gamefiles!!! When i had a Counter-Strike Source server back in the days i was allways trying to find a ftp/web server to host all my gamefiles on like maps/materials/skins/sounds to use sv_downloadurl "http://the-url-to-your-website.com/cstrike/"

So i've decided to start one up myself and its free to use for anyone who want to use it, BUT only to host gamefiles on like i said before.

The server is located in sweden just so you know. Before i allways used aperture-m.com but it shut down because of people where uploading other things on there.

Here is some connection info:

port: 21

The server is online 24/7 and please dont abuse it! If you do i have to shut it down. Im doing this to help servers grow and more people are joining when the download is fast! Feel free to use it.

Just banned ip: 78.181.72.217 Because he connected and deleted a few files But as i said if u want ur own account that noone can touch just contact me

no problem with the host?, not delete the files per X time? or a similar problem?

Um, bad idea. You should never give out ftp login details publicly. I would definitely not trust this with my fast download files, since it has a public open hole.

If you want free fast DL, just use Dropbox.

As i said above just email me at: [email protected] and i will setup a free account for you! Just tell me what username and password you want and i will fix that. To use dropbox isnt a good idea if you have many custom files like skins and sounds because its so DAMN SLOW!

Paparazziv2: No there isnt any "problems" with the host and the files will never be deleted if noone deletes them! Email me at: [email protected] if you want your own account.

Dropbox? Is there a link to Dropbox where u can setup fast dl? All I rmb is that u need to download this application and login to see the files.

You stick your stuff in the Public folder, then you can get a link.

I recommending that fastdl, I'm using it for 2 weeks now, I have my own ftp account, unlimited space and bandwidth

speed isn't great thou, but probably problem is on my side
