how do you make them download the file when they connect to the server?
im adding cs_office_cz to my 1.6 server and they have to download a .wad file, steam doesnt see that they need this file so i have to force them to dl it

I don't know if it work for wad files because the client would most likely get the "Wad file not found" error before being able to download a file.

try putting the download command in client_connect and see if it works.

idk, i just dont understand how to use this plugin...do i have to make a whole seperate plugin to make it dl.

Test it by uploading a wad to a server (and delete it locally) and put the download code in client_connect. See if it does the download and then lets you connect.

What I meant in my previous post is there is a good chance the client will get disconnected\error'd before the plugin will do the download of the wad file so this may not be possible.
