Well something happened to shconfig.cfg. It became a HL2 icon and it is no longer accessable to me (because there isnt shero for CSS). If you guys could find a solution to this or give me a link to a brand new shconfig.cfg file.

Download the mod again and you get a new shconfig.cfg

And the symbol is usually cause of the program you open it with...

Did you try to rename it and wrote then .cfg at the end? Or open it, click on File>Save As...>Choose as Fieltype *.* and as Filename shconfig.cfg ;)

You tried to open a .cfg with STEAM? o.O

That can't work

Open it with Notepad or an Editor, because it's only a textfile and it will be read by Steam automatically ;)

Well, this is what happened...
Saw the shconfig.cfg file for the first time, didnt know what i was doing, transfered it to the desktop and triend openning it. It said it neeeded a source from where it was created. i click on Steam and now instead of the icon is should be, (same icon as a .sma file), it's a HL2 icon. And now, when i try openning it, it says the file cannot be located, then it says where it is supposed to be. So, i try going there, and when i do get there, the file isnt there, and the file isnt supposed to be there.

So, what do i do to fix this?

Right-click the file and select 'Open with' -> 'Choose program'.
Select notepad or any other texteditor you use, and select the 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' check box.
