This plugin is not all that great. For a server that has many mods, it makes people download more crap. Loading sounds (HL Sounds) is a much better plugin. Also, I can't find it right now but there is an AMX plugin out there that was ported that does not have all the crap that this 1 does and worked like a charm.....iF I find i Will post it for ya.

Give me a direct link please (did not find by your keywords). If it's a streaming plugin then it's has another concept and should not be compared with this one. This plugin is a replacement of those in the top post. Eeach of them works with precached or manually predownloaded files. So, what i've done wrong? Plus, archive inlcludes a demo files. You can use another files (less in size) or use just standard mp3 files (without precaching at all assuming they are on client) & do not use those included at all.

Again i'll tell what this plugin does (this is shorter than the top post):
* plays mp3/wav files during player connection to server (but i do not recommend playing wav files)
* plays wav files on first team selection (e.g. once per map) - imho, this is very cool in gameplay - also you can turn it off & continue playing those mp3 file which was playing on connecting
* (as a bonus) if connected player is gone to spec mode a new random track will be played till the end (you can turn it off)
* when player comes into gameplay & mp3 track was playing it fades out
* playlist support: external or built-in plugin
* configurable

I like this plugin. I'm able to define differents sounds by map ambience. With a fast download, I don't see what's the problem.

Actually those plugins do the same thing with slight variations. Current plugin mixes them plus adds couple of new features plus adds more customizable cvars plus stable (i hope). Quality upgrade =)
