Hi, i have posted this new here because were it was before, the titles of the thread was not really related to what i wanted.

I am setting up a Scrim Server on Team Fortress 2 on a Linux Server.

If someone could please send me the full cfg file that i will need that is configured to meet the requirements of what is needed for a scrim team.

Also, does TF2 use what CSS (Counter Strike Source) uses, i mean the "Live on 3" thing, because if it doesn, then how do i get this to work on my server.

If you could also tell me anything else that i will need for my private scrim server.



And the last thing is that when i was hex editing a map i accedentally deleted some of the maps. People are telling me to get HLDS, this looks complicated, so if you run a server i would appreciate it if you could upload all your maps to something such as "Rapidshare" and put links to the download as i would love to just do this. Or please give me a link to the UP TO DATE VERSIONS of all the maps.

All this would be much appreciate, please explain in simpelton terms lol as i am a bigggggg noob.

I have done everything now, but one thing....

I still need the maps!

surely you have those from when you downloaded the files / installed the server.
If not
./steam -command update -game "tf" -dir . -verify_all

That will check you have every file needed to start the server up including all stock maps

wait how did you set up your server to do cal match like the live on 3 thing.
