EDIT: ok...my bad...i found an error on second glance from when i switched over to webadmin and didnt update the database....repaired....but still sourcebans is way slow to load and was
"forgeting" the groups,servers,flags settings on "add new admin". it was very frustrating to do it
twice x 50 admins...it was out of my scope we'll say. so i would say this may be a better option
for intermediate><advanced sql pro's....which i am most certainly not....

Posting a problem i have (also on steamfriensd forums)

"Right i have set new admins up on the web interface.

Problem is i cant set the server permissions to them. When i go to the server permissions page, the server is there but there is no Green Button for save changes. Just the Back button. If you tick the server and press back it wont save.

So where has the green button gone, i reuploaded the file and its still the same.

Apart from that , sourcebans works perfectly... "

I have installed the web front no problem and have added servers/admins etc.
I then uploaded all ga,e_upload files and also the database.cfg

It connects to the database fine with no errors but as soon as you add admin you get this error in the logs.
I'm sure it is connecting fine but definatly not recongnizing the sql format or something.
The tables are definatly in the sql db and work fine with the web side of things.
This is with the latest snapshot which I downloaded last night

CRJackyd - make sure your sourcebans.cfg is setup correctly for your database

Do most people use a mySQL database on their game machine, or a remote one in an off-game server machine, for this plugin?

I personally use my website sql on a seperate machine.

I'm 99% sure I have done the sourcebans.cfg file correctly, most of it is standard and i havn't changed anything really.
Any ideas?

You MUST run the relevant update script before you use it, as there is a minor SQL change. (if you had latest revision before, run this: rc2R55-rc2R56update.php


This update contains a pretty important security fix, please update your installs. (The bug is not listed on the changelog to protect people who havn't updated yet)
