While mapping I use clipping tool alot, but I don't know how to use that tool's feature to clip objects into two parts, so i can SELECT either both or separate block. There is mode to clip objects and keep both but if I select one, other part get's selected automatically, there's just a line where it was supposed to be cut.

Select Cliping Tool and put the line on the "block" you want to cut.After that you can see that only 1 part is selected and only that will stay on map,the other will be deleted.Now Click the Clipping Tool Icon in the left side or where you have it until it has the 2 parts selected.Afer that press ENTER and it will keep both parts but separated from each other.
