.AMXX is the binary file

.SMA is the source file (it's this file you must edit !)

After edited the .SMA file you must recompile it.

I dont get it tell me step by step how to edit a plugin please when you said edit the sma file i try but it says the file is not known.

It's not a probleme it's just windows do not recognize the .sma file format, but you can open the file, when the window with "file format uknow" appear, click on [OK] button and after choose notepad.
