Why is there a rule about non-steam servers on this forum?
Like the one with the HldsUpdateTool that steam that steam support mention in here https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...6758-TCMF-2234 and also run smoother then the steam tools dedicated server (i dont use steam tools dedicated server once i had 4 plugins on it and it lagged like s*** and then i tryed the hldsupdatetool server thingy and then i could ahve the 4 plugins and alot more without lagg)? can any1 tell me why?????!!!???

Because Non-Steam games aren't updated anymore. Steam always provide new updates, so amxx can implement new things based on updates...

Both of you didn't read his post, so read it now.

You don't understand the term "no-steam". It means you're running a server without Steam updates, off of the Steam system, so the players that connect to your server do not have Steam IDs.

A Standalone Dedicated Server is perfectly fine. Few people use the "Steam tools" dedicated server.

It's updated. I belive it's because AMXx doesn't approve of piracy?

That update tool that you linked to sets up Steam server because the server authenticates users through the Steam system.
