It says cssdm. I am talking about hl2mp. I'll give it a try. Some things work with css and not with dm. Thanks for the reply

Just tested it. It wont work with hl2mp (dm).
Server crashed at restart.

is there a way to force client have a auto bind ? explain, i have a 40 slot server, and many noob haven"t the console .... it will be more simple if when they connect to my server, they will have the jetpack bind ready for use ....

else, this is a great plugin, the firts jetpack map was release by my friend SDO, i will give you it when the final version will be ready ;)

It may be possible to bind someone's keys with Mani automatically, but I wouldn't recommend it. I have most of the "unused" keys bound to something like buying weapons or using the admin menu. I know I'd be unhappy if I joined a server and it changed my binds.

I look forward to seeing the map. Post us a link when there a downloadable version and screen shots are available.

Idea:
While a client is in the server they can type the following string in chat.

bind jetpack <keyhere>

This then triggers on the client to bind <keyhere> to +jetpack.

Where possible:
Eventscripts + mani or beetles can handle it I believe
SourceMM plugins can handle it (so it could be a jetpack built in feature)

Also a warning/message that shows every 30 seconds or so (or interval can be cvar) that says type "bind jetpack <keyhere> to bind a key to jetpack!" But is only active while jetpack = on ...

Again I believe this is possible w/ eventscripts + mani or beetles.


Honestly, on a full server (20 man), I have been *EXTREMELY* surprised to see how many people don't even know the console exists.

i want to know how ? i think very few person binb all the keyboard ! and if they know how to bind, they will know how to un bind ;)

for the jetpack map, it a bit laggy at spawn, but it's the first(test for gameplay) , more will come ;)
