Ehh.. If you are making server pc, don't buy gaming pc.. It has components which raises price and are useless in server.

No I believe he is going to install windows server then use it as a desktop, that's I what I am getting out of it. Also the case looks like a 5 year old designed it.

This... Self builds are the best choice. I built all my server and my gaming desktop my self. I paid $530 got an amd quad core @ 4.3 Ghz, 24 GB ram, motherboard, case, 750 watt psu, two 1 GB nvidia cards, and an additional gigabit lan card. I could not have gotten anything close to what I built with that power if I bought a prebuilt toy. If you want two spend a $1000 on something do it on video cards or 6 750 GB SSDs in raid.

My friend told me to see if these computers are good or not.
He ordered like 25 computers for his cafe (Coffee Shop), so he can make tournaments and stuff.
who needs 3D stuff for hosting servers.
